One is puzzled and impressed, or even more so, enchanted and touched by what seems to be an unfamiliar side of Saint Lu: After the singer showcased her wild side on the power track "Don't Miss You Own Life", on her new single, "Here I Stand", were encountering a soft or even vulnerable Saint Lu. "Here I Stand is about that voice inside your head that keeps telling you you're not good enough the way you are", says Saint Lu, explaining where she drew the inspiration for "Here I Stand" from.

"For me as a musician, it often seemed difficult to defend my dreams against the everyday life. The songs starts off intimate and fragile, but mounts up and ends huge. Just like my soul, that used to be timid but now sings from the top of its lungs: Here I Stand!"
Indeed, this ballad unfolds a power that first caresses the ears with caution and timidness, but eventually turns out to be a powerful piece of music.

Very much befitting is the accompanying music video, an atmospheric collage of black and white and colors, of intimate studio sessions and the pumping vibe that takes over when performing in front of a big audience.
